After breakfast, you'll depart for the historical Shigar Valley, a fertile green oasis nestled beneath dramatic rock faces. The highlight of the day is a visit to Shigar Fort, a 17th-century palace lovingly restored as a museum and boutique hotel. Stroll through the ancient corridors and courtyards that whisper stories of the region’s rich past. The journey continues to the Sarfaranga Cold Desert — the highest cold desert in the world — where you'll experience vast white sands and stunning contrast against the rugged mountains. Return to Skardu by sunset for dinner and rest.

On this day, you have the option to embark on a full-day adventure to Deosai National Park, known as the 'Roof of the Earth'. This high-altitude plateau, open between late June and early October, offers vast green plains, wildflowers, and grazing wildlife such as Himalayan brown bears and marmots. En route, you'll pass by Sadpara Lake, a turquoise reservoir nestled between rocky slopes. If the park is closed or you prefer a lighter day, alternate activities include a visit to Kharpocho Fort, Skardu Bazaar, or a relaxed riverside picnic. Return to your hotel in the evening.

After a leisurely breakfast, the day is reserved for exploring the charming Kachura Village or relaxing at your resort. Stroll along pine-fringed trails, visit local homes, or simply unwind by the lake with optional fishing or tea by the water.
