Can I climb Khosar Gang if I have no prior experience?

Yes! Khosar Gang is one of the best beginner peaks in Pakistan. If you have good physical fitness and basic hiking experience, our guides will help you reach the summit safely.

What’s the best season to join this expedition?

The ideal season is June to September when snow conditions are more stable, and the weather allows safer summit attempts.

What level of fitness is required?

You should be in good health and able to hike for 5–7 hours daily carrying a light backpack. Some experience with cold, altitude, and trekking is helpful.

What happens if we can’t fly to Skardu?

If the weather doesn't allow flights, we travel via the Karakoram Highway — a legendary road trip full of amazing scenery and cultural stops.

Do you provide climbing gear?

Group gear like tents, ropes, stoves, etc., is provided. Personal climbing equipment must be brought by participants, but rental may be arranged upon request.

Day 01 :

Arrival at Islamabad

Your adventure with 360 Adventures Pakistan begins in Islamabad, where you will meet our professional team, attend a trip briefing, and check your gear. You’ll stay overnight at a comfortable hotel.

Day 02 :

Fly to Skardu / Karakoram

You will either fly to Skardu (weather permitting) or travel via the scenic Karakoram Highway. This route showcases Pakistan’s dramatic landscapes and natural beauty.

Day 03 :

Preparation at Skardu

A day to rest and acclimatize in Skardu while finalizing permits and expedition prep. You’ll explore the local bazaar, Skardu Fort, or enjoy a quiet walk near Satpara Lake.

Day 04 :

Drive to Sildi and Trek to Khosar Gang Base Camp

We’ll drive through beautiful valleys to reach the village of Sildi — the starting point of our trekking route toward Khosar Gang Base Camp.

Day 05 :

Trek to Khosar Gang Base Camp

The trek begins as we hike through alpine meadows and rocky terrain to reach Khosar Gang Base Camp. You’ll set up camp, settle in, and prepare for the climb.

Day 06 :

Acclimatization & Climbing Practice

This day is reserved for acclimatization and technical preparation. Our team will review basic climbing techniques and check all equipment to ensure safety.

Day 07 :

Summit Day: Khosar Gang Peak (6,040m)

Summit day! Before dawn, we begin our ascent to the top of Khosar Gang. After enjoying breathtaking views of the Karakoram, we descend back to Base Camp the same day.

Day 08 :

Return Trek to the Village

After breakfast, we’ll pack up and trek back to the village. You’ll celebrate the successful summit with a traditional farewell dinner with the team.

Day 09 :

Drive Back to Skardu

We drive back to Skardu, where you can relax and enjoy the evening at a guesthouse or explore the riverside town one last time.

Day 10 :

Return to Islamabad

Depending on weather, you will either fly or travel by road back to Islamabad. Upon arrival, unwind at your hotel or shop for souvenirs.

Day 11 :

Departure Day

Our team will drop you at Islamabad International Airport for your departure flight. Say goodbye to Pakistan with memories of a truly unique expedition.
